We aim to regenerate teeth by promoting the growth of tooth buds (tooth germs) that would normally degenerate, using anti USAG-1 antibodies, a negative regulator of tooth development. Our goal is to extend healthy lifespans by restoring missing teeth in patients with congenital tooth loss, regenerating the tertiary dental lamina--the tooth primordium that typically degenerates after permanent teeth have formed--and improving oral function in the elderly.
