HarvestX Inc. is a startup aiming to achieve fully automated cultivation of fruits and vegetables that require pollination, such as strawberries, in plant factories. Founded at the University of Tokyo in 2018, HarvestX focused on addressing the challenge that "producing fruits requiring pollination is difficult in plant factories," and succeeded in achieving the world's first robotic strawberry pollination. "Rich food for future generations." Through the combination of engineering and agricultural science, HarvestX develops and provides solutions for realizing sustainable agriculture.
